Hi, I'm Cassaundra — the proud owner of Confections of a Queen LLC, where we bake up more than just delicious treats; we bake confidence, creativity, and FUN! My love for baking started at age 5, when I first stood on a stool in the kitchen with my dad, learning the basics of making something amazing from scratch. Fast forward to high school, and I was known as the "cookie lady," selling my baked goods to friends and classmates!
I went on to study Baking & Pastry Arts at Johnson & Wales University in Miami, and thought I had everything figured out. But life had other plans. After the loss of my parents and a battle with postpartum depression, I lost my passion for baking. But with the support of my husband, I found my way back to what I love, and now I'm here—running my dream business and sharing that passion with others!
Today, I’m not just baking for you—I’m teaching the next generation of bakers! Through hands-on classes designed for kids and teens, I’m helping young bakers build confidence, learn new skills, and discover how much FUN baking can be. Whether they're whipping up cookies, cakes, or pastries, my goal is to inspire a love of baking that will last a lifetime.
